Quick Review

Celtic took the lead in 16 minutes after Shunsuke Nakamura slipped Maciej Zurawski past a square Well defence. The Pole took the ball around Colin Meldrum just outside the box and side-footed it towards goal. Stephen Craigan and Reynolds got in the way of each other as they tried to clear and the Northern Irishman helped the ball into the net.
McDonald had a chance to run at Celtic eight minutes into the second half when he got one-on-one with Stephen McManus on the left wing. The Australian forced the defender to retreat but shot a couple of yards over from just outside the box.
Celtic got their second in 66 minutes when Nakamura again sent Zurawski racing past the Well defence and the Pole slipped the ball home from 10 yards.
Scott McDonald, the scourge of Celtic defence's of the past, set up a tense finish when he scored in 77 minutes.
Pearson could have extended Celtic's lead, but shot wide after Nakamura's clever play.
