Biog

Alec Collins was a right-back in the very earliest days of Celtic. The Bhoys were the defender’s first club and he made his debut in a 9-2 Scottish Cup victory at home to Clyde on December 12 1888.

A week later he made another first team appearance in the cup – a 1-0 win at East Striling – but was never to play first team football for the Celts again.
