do we have a better picture of this guy? he is one of the greats but the picture we have of him is a bit worn to put it politely and makes him look like he has freaky eyes...

On a related note: can anyone confirm that U19 players Declan and Grant are Gallaghers rather than Gallachers?
Even the OS doesn't seem sure.

I would like to congratulate everybody who is involved with putting this Web-Site on the Net.This is the kind of clever Fan based intelligent web-site I have been looking for since I first got on-line in 2005.I have no time for the Bigotry and Hatred of other sites.Even the immortal Jock Stein put that nonsense into the category it deserves.I have always supported Glasgow Celtic through good times and bad, like the Souness/Smith era at Bigotbrox. However they might have equalled our total but they never surpassed it.I hope to be a regular contributor to these pages, cheers *Ged* North East England.

I've attempted an update of the Ladies squad ahead of the new summer league campaign.
Albeit my info's the result of googling Celtic and Scotland squads and might well be dodgy.
Granted the women's game is not everyone's cup of tea, but as Celts we should be setting an example in this regard. And if any of KDS's ghirl contingent has additional info then please get involved and help us out.

Tommy O'Hara's older brother Pat was on Celtic's groundstaff in 1963. He was farmed out to Maryhill and later played for Glenafton Athletic, Shotts Bon Accord, Kirkintilloch Rob Roy and Shettleston. Lacked sufficient pace to be a senior and gradually drifted backwards from left winger to left midfield to left back. Despite his lack of pace he read the game brilliantly and passed the ball with great accuracy. Pat was capped several times for Junior Scotland while with Rob Roy and Shettleston. Last heard of playing amateur football in his native Uddingston in the late 1980s. Sported a goatee beard.

you'll need to go to wetpaint central for that and not here if you want your general wetpaint acc fixed.
as for this site you just need to change your password etc and email via your preferences.

What a great and early piece of Celtic History the Tea-set makes and it can be viewed in the museum at Hampden, i often wonder why it was not donated to Celtic Park, could it be that they would not have displayed it or did the family want it to be part of Scottish Footballs History rather than Celtic?

The pics show a St Andrews Celtic Brake Club Banner with a pic of Charlie Shaw and Andy McAtee.
Charlie Shaw a Goalkeeper was born in Twechar and moved from QPR to Celtic in May 1913, in his first full season he only conceded 14 goals in 38 league games, a record that i dont think will be broken, he played 492 games for Celtic which is another record he holds for a goalkeeper He had won six league titles 1914-1917, 1919 and 1922 and two Scottish Cups 1914 and 1923.
He owned a Tobacconist at Bridgeton Cross and went on loan to Clyde and remained at Shawfield until the end of the season 1924-25,
In the summer of 1925 aged 40 he went as player manager to New Bedford Whalers, the USA"s leading Soccer Team, he took a few Celtic players with him and funnily enough one of them was Andy McAtee whose on the reverse of the Brake Club Banner,
Amazingly he was never capped for Scotland although he did play for the Scottish League twice, his record of Appearances for Celtic is a tribute to his ability and consistency over a 12 yr period.
A true Celtic Great & Brilliant Goalie who Sadly died in New York from pneumonia in March 1938.
Andy McAtee was born in Cumbernald in the year 1888, he made his debut against Partick Thistle in the year 1910 and went onto form a brilliant almost telepathic right wing partnership with the Great Patsy Gallagher, the strong winger made over 300 League Appearances with the Club.
During World War One he worked in the mines before spending the last year of the conflict in uniform, he retired in 1925 after scoring close on 80 goals in over 450 games for Celtic and in that year he moved to the USA where he played for the New Bedford FC.
Another Celtic Great who dedicated 14 years of his life to the wearing of the Hoops.
